Chain 1/2 in. alloy per Sketch 1. Place one directly forward of rear drive sprocket and one
35,000 lbs. or less
immediately behind front idler where track is parallel with floor. When six chains are required,

locate additional chain midway between two outer chains. When eight chains are required,
35.000 lbs. to
locate one directly over rear drive sprocket and one over front idler where track Is parallel with
car floor. Space the two remaining chains equally between the two outer chains.

1. Detached parts, boxed material, etc., must be located as far from sides and ends of car as practicable and
secured to prevent displacement.
2. Brake must be tightly set and secured.
