3. Remove lockwire and remove four capscrews (1), lockwashers (2), flat washers (3), cover (4), and gasket (5) from
terminal box (6).
4. Tag and disconnect electrical wires (7) from terminals inside terminal box (6). Disconnect conduit nut (8) and remove
conduit (9) and electrical wires.
5. Remove six capscrews (10), lockwashers (11), and flat washers (12). Remove speed-sensing alternator (13) and
gasket (14) from traction motor.
