Requirements for tie-down with wire. Securing the vehicles with wire must comply with the following
requirements:
(1)
The ends of the wires used for binding must not project.
(2)
The number of wires must be even. Wires will be looped through the fastening points (see Figures
9, 10, 11).
(3)
The wires must be tightened at one or more points by twisting, using only the method illustrated in
Figure 12. Wire which has been twisted by machines may not be used for this purpose.
