2-7. PMCS COLUMN DESCRIPTION
a. Item number column shall be used as a source of item numbers for the TM number column on
DA Form 2404, Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet, in recording results of
PMCS.
b. Interval column tells when each check is to be performed.
c. Item To Be Inspected column lists the checks to be performed.
d. Procedures column contains the procedure by which the check is to be performed.
e. Equipment Is Not Ready/Available If column has an entry only when the locomotive should not
be operated or accepted with the malfunction.
